Little Falls ceremony planned to mark Memorial Day

LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota's Department of Veterans Affairs is preparing for more than 1,200 people at a ceremony to mark Memorial Day.

LITTLE FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota's Department of Veterans Affairs is preparing for more than 1,200 people at a ceremony to mark Memorial Day.

The event at the State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls is being held on Sunday, ahead of the Monday holiday.

It will begin with the traditional Parade of Flags and feature the placing of wreaths. There will also be the first public showing of a U.S. Navy painting that was commissioned as part of a history project.
