Flooding makes some field trips dangerous

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- About 3,500 students on fields trips visit Jay Cooke State Park every year.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- About 3,500 students on fields trips visit Jay Cooke State Park every year.

Flood damage has destroyed and closed trails and roads throughout the park. This can be very dangerous.

Kristine Hiller- MN DNR Naturalist: "I personally have very specific rules as to where our kids on field trips go here in the park and where they don't go."
