Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The North Dakota DOT is down one truck tonight.

Fargo firefighters were called to this truck fire on the 500 block of 38th Street South late Tuesday night. This is what's left of a North Dakota DOT dump truck.

Firefighters arrived to the cab and engine compartment of the dump truck fully engulfed. Crews quickly put out the flames, before the fire could spread to other trucks.

The truck was not being used at the time. No one was injured.

Leroy Skarloken, Asst. Chief/Fargo Fire: “No one was around there and it could have been anything really. It's under investigation still as what the cause goes, but not a lot of people realize it but we have vehicle fires probably once a week and there's all different causes for them.”

Damage is $75,000.
