Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - While many high schoolers pick a day before graduation for a prank or "Senior Skip Day", students at Fargo South are making a difference for the next generation.

Everyone in the senior class split up and spent what they call a "Prank Day" volunteering at one of Fargo South's feeder elementary schools, like Lewis and Clark.

From gym games to the classroom, both K-5 students as well as the graduating seniors say it's one of the best days of the year.

Madeline Strandemo, Fargo South Senior: “Well, I love the looks on the kids’ faces, how excited they get to see us. I mean, when we were leaving our first grade classroom, they all came over and we did a huge group hug because they were just sad to see us go.”

It was the second year for Fargo South's Senior "Prank Day".
