The northbound and southbound lanes of I-29 from the Manvel, ND, interchange to the Grafton interchange are now open. The ND DOT had closed the road because water had flooded it. The DOT says that water is still on the shoulder of the road from Manvel to the Canadian border, so drivers should use caution.

Water could spill over the roadway again as levels fluctuate.

The southbound lane on I-29 south of the Minto interchange is reduced to one lane for about a mile. Speeds there are reduced to 45 mph.

The DOT says drivers should use caution, as vehicles that leave the roadway could become submerged in water. Roads could also become icy as temperatures drop below freezing.
