Seatbelt enforcement will be strong the next 2 weeks

Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- Law enforcement in Minnesota will be out looking for people not wearing their seatbelts.

Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- Law enforcement in Minnesota will be out looking for people not wearing their seatbelts.

And they'll stop and ticket you if you're not buckled up. Some 400 Minnesota agencies will take part in Click It or Ticket patrols over the next two weeks.

Of the 864 people who died in Minnesota traffic crashes over the last three years, more than 40 percent were not buckled up. Minnesota has adopted a Toward Zero Deaths initiative, which has a goal of zero road fatalities.
