Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Storms popped up out of nowhere over night and early this morning, causing a headache on some roadways. This is a Semi that was over turned by the wind just outside of Valley City.

The driver was headed Westbound on I-94. The wind pushed it towards the median and then it flipped.

A second incident involved a pair of pickups that were pulling campers. The drivers pulled over because of weather conditions. High winds tipped both campers, causing them to detach from the hitch.

Captain Bryan Niewind- ND State Patrol: "If you don't have a lot of weight on your vehicle, you might want to try and sit tight until the wind kind of dies down, you know we have a lot of vehicles blow over during the year, but it happens every once in a while."

Troopers say empty semi trailers are the most at risk for tipping over during high winds.
