Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- From January to April of this year, there have been 12 missing people reported in Fargo.

Six adults and six juveniles. A very small percentage of these cases go high-profile. That is because most show up within 24 to 48 hours, and often didn't know they were "missing" at all.

Police treat adult and juvenile cases largely the same. But juvenile abductions and runaways are typically treated differently.

Deputy Chief Pat Claus says, "The sense of urgency is going to be higher in the abduction case or a lost child case than a missing or a runaway case. But both get treated as legitimate cases and followed up on."

All 12 missing people in Fargo were located, and all but one were unharmed.

27-year-old Colter Dallman was found dead in January, a few weeks after he was reported missing.
