Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A month after suffering a head injury outside a Fargo gentleman's club, a man has died from his injuries. And it has police taking a new look at the case.

Officials say this all began late on April 13th, when a struggle broke outside this strip club. 38-year-old Christopher Barr was asked to leave the club. He was escorted out, and temporarily left the area.

Later,an employee says he returned and tried to strike the employee. Trying to control the situation, the employee pushed Barr away. And that's how Barr fell and hit his head.

He was transported and treated at Sanford. But Barr died on Tuesday from related injuries. Police say bar fights are common, but this just isn't.

Deputy Chief Pat Claus says, "How often, then does one of those result in someone becoming seriously injured or dying? Rarely. But they do happen."

Authorities say it is too early in this case to tell if charges will be pressed.
