Dalrymple signs $1.1 billion in tax relief bills

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- North Dakota residents will soon see some state income tax relief. Governor Dalrymple was in Fargo to sign a bill that provides 250 million dollars in individual income tax savings across all tax brackets.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- North Dakota residents will soon see some state income tax relief. Governor Dalrymple was in Fargo to sign a bill that provides 250 million dollars in individual income tax savings across all tax brackets.

It means that combined with tax relief since 2009, people will save about 42 percent in state income taxes.

Dalrymple signed $1.1 billion in tax relief bills this legislative session.

GOV. Jack Dalrymple- (R) North Dakota: "It will be written in history that the 63rd legislative assembly stepped up and made investments in our state's infrastructure like never before."

Governor Dalrymple also approved 50-million-dollars in corporate tax relief.
