(WDAY TV) -- It took 5 years, but playoff hockey made it's return to Xcel Energy center today, and the intensity was ramped up with the Wild trailing the Blackhawks 2 games to none in the best of 7 series.

Chicago scored first, but the Wild answered late in the opening period.

Pierre-Marc Bouchard puts a backhand top-shelf to tie the game at 1-all.

That score held until the early minutes of the 3rd, when Charlie Coyle sets up Zach Parise, and the UND standout goes backhand, far corner.

Same spot, same result. Wild lead it 2-1.

But, a bad line changes costs them late,

Duncan Keith ties the game with 2:45 left in regulation,

forcing overtime for the 2nd time in the series.

And just over 2 minutes in, Moorhead's Matt Cullen sets up the game-winner,

from his belly, flipping it to Jason Zucker who scores from a tough angle.

The rookie and former Denver Pioneer scores the game-winner, in a 3-2 overtime victory and the Wild snap a 5-game playoff losing streak.
