Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- The Vikings are getting a look at the future this weekend, holding a 3-day rookie mini-camp.

It has been hard for coaches not to notice their first selection, defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd.

The 6-3, 300 pound defensive tackle from Florida stands out among the other young Viking hopefuls. And he's already finding his comfort zone in Minnesota.

Floyd says, "this is my comfort zone, I loved being out here doing football things, kinda happy to get away from that 40 training and stuff and get back into season training, technique training and my position training."

Mini-camp wraps up tomorrow. It's one of the best sounds in all of sports.
