Bismarck, ND (WDAY TV) -- The North Dakota's Legislature wrapped up it's longest session ever.
The 2013 session adjourned at about 4:35 a.m. Saturday, after weary lawmakers approved an unprecedented $850 million-plus in property tax relief.
The marathon day completed work on the Legislature's 14-billion dollar 2 year budget. Including 6.9 billion dollars in state general fund spending.
The Legislature met for 80 days, the maximum set by the state constitution.
Previously, the longest session was 79 days in 2009.
