A Plummer, MN, man has been charged with assault after authorities say he struck another man and woman with a metal bar.
The Red Lake County Sheriff's Office says Curtis Robert Jourdain, 19, appeared in court Friday and plead not guilty to two counts of 2nd-degree assault and one count of 5th-degree domestic violence.
According to a criminal complaint, Jourdain assaulted the two people with a metal bar at a home in Plummer on Thursday, April 14th. While his condition isn't known, the Sheriff's Office says he was able to speak to authorities at the hospital. The female victim was treated at the scene.
Jourdain is being held at the Tri-County Correctional Facility in Crookston on $5,000 bond. He'll make his next court appearance later this month.
The case is under investigation by the Red Lake County Sheriff's Office. Oklee Ambulance and the Plummer Fire Department also responded to the scene.
