West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Road construction season is underway in West Fargo.
The first phase of the Veterans Boulevard project was started today. 36th avenue to 32nd avenue are closed for the road removal process. The boulevard will become a four-lane divided section.
Once school gets out, 36th avenue to 40th avenue will be closed. City engineers say this is the main construction project planned for the city.
Dustin Scott, Asst. City Engineer, West Fargo: “We do have a lot of construction in the area, primarily in the residential development side of things, and so we won’t be shutting down any other major corridor as far as roadway work.”
The project should wrap up August 15th and will continue to take shape through October.
