Fargo city crews are sweeping the streets

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Many of you may have noticed, there is more visible trash on the streets. That's because most of it's been hiding under the snow.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Many of you may have noticed, there is more visible trash on the streets. That's because most of it's been hiding under the snow.

Street crews with the City of Fargo have began sweeping streets clearing them of trash, sand, and dirt.

Crews will spend Wednesday night and Thursday focusing on Broadway in downtown.

City officials say it's important to be mindful on parking restrictions during this time.

Mike Williams- Fargo City Commissioner: "This is usually happening the first part of April so you know, now that the flood waters are not as high as they were predicting and that work is being put away we are trying to catch up quick."

Moorhead has already started sweeping streets.
