MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota woman has been charged with attempted murder, terrorizing and reckless endangerment after leading authorities on a car chase and ramming into law enforcement vehicles.

The Ward County Sheriff's Office says 40-year-old Amber Osbourne, of Fairdale, is being held at the Ward County Jail.

The sheriff's office says it received a call about 5:35 a.m. Monday that a woman wanted to provoke officers in order to harm herself.

A pursuit started involving sheriff's deputies, Minot police officers and North Dakota Highway Patrol officers.

Osbourne reportedly rammed her vehicle into officers' cars before a tire spike slowed her vehicle down and she was eventually taken into custody.
