It's day number one for Village Green, who opened their driving range this morning. This sunshine is almost a month behind schedule. But even with snow still on the ground, it's not stopping these golfers from hitting the range.
Our never-ending winter finally broke. But it left Village Green thousands of dollars behind for the season. Now they're forced to play catch up.
Along with these players, who had to drive all the way from Munich to find green grass.
"It's going to be tough because, usually we have like a 5-6 week season. We're probably going to have three."
"It's good because we've been hitting birdie balls in our gym, which isn't the same as hitting actual balls."
Village Green says although they don't want it to flood, it does force golfers to come to their course, where it's dry.
