Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- NDSU Spring Practice wraps up tomorrow afternoon with the Green and gold game and fans that head to the Fargodome will get a glimpse of the quarterbacking future.

Bismarck native Carson Wentz now enters his 3rd year in the program and continues to impress.

This spring the coaching staff has added more workload to the sophomore; but actual game reps may be limited when you bring back a 2-time national championship winning quarterback.

Carson Wentz- NDSU Sophmore Quarterback: “Putting in the work all off-season and last year, the more reps I can get. Last spring I got hurt in the second week and that was frustrating so I missed a good chunk of spring ball and the more experience I can get the better I feel with the offense and just the better confidence I have, the more experience the better.”

Brent Vigen- NDSU Offensive Coordinator: “We feel like he's at a point where we are able to press him more, almost able to treat him like he's a starter and it's allowing him to take big leaps this spring. With the situation that might arise where he might play we wouldn't have to skip a beat in my opinion.”

Spring game begins at 1; the live blog starts at noon and full coverage on WDAY and WDAY.com

tomorrow.
