WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) — A Watford City man is accused of leading a crime ring that stole more than $10,000 in diesel fuel in McKenzie County.

Twenty-one-year-old Tyler DeFoe faces misdemeanor and felony charges including leading a criminal association. Court documents do not list an attorney for him and a home telephone listing could not immediately be found.

The Bismarck Tribune reports that authorities say they have linked DeFoe to 16 diesel thefts. He is alleged to have intimidated at least five juveniles into helping him.
