Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Only one team has won three straight FCS titles in history; Appalachian State turned the trick from 2005-07 and the man who was in charge of that program is in Fargo this week.

Jerry Moore stopped by Bison spring practice to speak to the team as they will attempt to tie App State's mark.

Moore is here by request from Craig Bohl. Moore coached Bohl when he played at Nebraska and he shared his insights about what NDSU will face this season trying for a three-peat.

Jerry Moore, Former App. St. Head Coach: “There's a certain mystique about being there and I talked to the team yesterday and our first year, and even some the second, we were afraid to talk about a national championship. The third year, they got to believe they can go win a championship, got to talk about it. I think there's an air about this team, you can feel they're confident. That's the way we were the second and third year. A lot of confidence about, not if we're going to, but we are going to go win a third championship.”
