Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - No fairway or putting action yet, at least for a while.
On the street that runs along Edgewood Golf Course on North Elm, contractors continued to fill TrapBags that will be used to protect that north side neighborhood. This as the city prepares to fight a 38 to 40 foot flood.
Close to 3,000 feet of trap bags are being installed in the near the golf course which sits next to the Red River.
April Walker, City of Fargo Engineer: “The TrapBag allows us to keep a lane of traffic open and give the park district more time to ring dike their facilities.”
TrapBags are also being used in south Fargo near Riverside Cemetery.
