Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- A group is helping to promote resilience and disaster recovery.
The Red River Resilience group is ramping up efforts as the potential flood draws closer.
The group is made up of counselors, mental health professionals, and community professionals.
The purpose is to help people Bounce back and adapt to what is normally a stressful situation.
Organizers say its important to take care of your self during this time.
Kit O'neill- Clinical Psychologist: "We want to remind people to use their resilience, so remember what's worked for you before, use that again, reach out and connect to other people, share the load, do this together, and then stay informed."
