Overland flooding is causing problems on some township roads

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The Buffalo River in Clay County is out of

it's banks.

Take a look at this video just outside of Sabin.

Lieutenant Bryan Green, Emergency Services Director for Clay County says the river is coming out of its banks from Georgetown to Sabin.

Overland flooding is causing problems on some township roads.

Green says most rural residents are well prepared.

LT. Bryan Green- Clay County Emergency Services Director: "The last couple of days it has been quite busy and people have been getting stuff in order and getting ready to go and by this weekend they'll be sandbagging once they're needed."

Green expects more roads to close this weekend as waters rise.
