Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The annual Green-Gold Bison Spring Game is Saturday at 1, and if you go, you might want to keep an eye on number 83.

Carey Woods was a star athlete at Bemidji in high school, and now he's making some big strides in his first spring camp. Woods made 4 catches in Saturday's scrimmage and caught the attention of his head coach.

Craig Bohl – NDSU Head Coach: “Carey is an emerging receiver. Some of it I think is that he's starting to learn our system. It was good to see Carey come out there and make a couple of big plays.”

Carey Woods – NDSU Freshman Wide Receiver: “My goal is to get into the mix, get in there and get some playing time next year and hopefully challenge the older guys at my position that are ahead of me and just make our overall team better.”
