Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A Cass County man owes the federal government over a half a million dollars in back taxes. Bruce L. Madlom has been notified multiple times since 2003, but without payment, the IRS has seized what they call an extremely large sports collection. Now, it's all up for auction right here in Fargo.

This collection is full of authentic items from all sorts of Minnesota teams. Signed footballs from Adrian Peterson, Super Bowl signatures and even a speed bag signed from the man himself - Muhammad Ali. All are for sale starting tomorrow morning.

From footballs, to baseballs and even bats, you can find it all here.

Crystal Ferguson - Supervisor Appraiser: "This is an extremely large lot sale. Extremely large."

For you die hard Dallas fans, a bronze Tom Landry statue. Even though this is one of the larger sales, the IRS auctions off items every day of the week and all across the country.

Eileen Foy - Liquidation Specialist: "It's a ton of stuff."

This liquidation specialist has watched personal items sold for pennies on the dollars for almost nine years, but only a few as extensive as this

Eileen Foy - Liquidation Specialist: "Before that, I was the tax collector, the revenue officer that would take the stuff. I think it took about a good week to go through everything and try to determine whatever we had."

The whole collection could be yours for no less than $7,362.

Crystal Ferguson - Supervisor Appraiser: "Roberto Duran, I remember him. He fought Sugar Ray Leonard when I was about ten."

They're hoping to raise the half a million dollars during this auction. Bidding begins at 9 AM at the Country Inn and Suites in Fargo.
