Three North Dakota cities set record lows over the weekend

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Unseasonably cold weather continues to linger in North Dakota.

The National Weather Service says Bismarck, Minot and Jamestown all set record-low temperature records for the date on Saturday, with the mercury dropping into the mid- and low teens.

Bismarck's and Jamestown's records had stood for 47 years; Minot's for 86 years.

Dickinson had a record low last Thursday, with 11 degrees.

The weather service forecast shows a warm-up coming later in the week, with highs in the 50s and 60s on Friday.
