Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- A week from today, fans will file into Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome for the annual green-gold game.

And they're probably hoping to see a bunch of plays like this. Back-up quarterback Carson Wentz airing it out for Bemidji's Carey Woods, who finished the day with 4 catches for 77 yards. Not bad for his first spring.

But, everyone knows it starts with defense for the Bison.

Linebacker Carlton Littlejohn re-enforcing that fact, as he blows up Sam Ojuri after the catch.

Craig Bohl is still looking for a cornerback to start opposite Marcus Williams, and his decision just got tougher, Junior corner Zach Colvin makes the interception.

He was a playmaker all over the field today.

He's battled injuries his entire career, but says he's ready for the opportunity.

Zach Colvin- NDSU Jr. Cornerback: "When I have times like this I feel that you only have that one opportunity and you have to make a play and with that interception I showed that I'm out here. I'm competing and I made the play. So, it's just a little hint saying I'm still here."

Craig Bohl- NDSU Head Coach: "He had been a guy that had been battling, but I thought today that he stepped to the fore-front and made a couple of really nice plays. These game-like repetitions weigh in heavily as far as our evaluations. So, his stock went up today."
