Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Two West Fargo fifth-graders are trying to help those affected in the Boston Marathon bombing any way they can.
Ashley Johnson and Anna Howard are raising money after hearing about the tragic bombing.
They set up a booth at tonight's South Elementary Carnival to collect donations and signatures on two cards they are also sending.
Classmates also stepped up to show their support to those injured in the bombing.
Anna Howard- Fifth-Grade Student: "We hope that it just uplifts them and assures them that there are people out there who are willing to help them and that are praying for them."
Ashley Johnson- Fifth Grade Student: "The past week, we read a story about kids changing the world, not just adults. And we thought, why don't we do something to prove people who think just adults can change the world, we can just prove them wrong."
If you want to donate to the cause, you can send money to South Elementary throughout next week.
All proceeds go to One-Fund-Boston-dot-org.
