Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The Minnesota Wild are on their way back to the Twin Cities and licking their wounds. That's after they saw their brief two game winning streak go by the boards.

In San Jose as the Sharks pasted the Wild 6-1.

Minnesota fell behind 2-0, before Pierre Marc Bouchard scored on a breakaway goal to cut the lead in half. But after that it was all Sharks, racking up 3 more goals in the 3rd period.

Mike Yeo- Wild Head Coach (FSN): "Not much to say, this late in the year we are still working to get better as a team and that's a game that will give us a stiff reminder. Haven't said that, doesn't matter much if you lose two one or you lose six one. Still counts as a loss. Probably the biggest one we have to repair is to push this one aside quickly. Bottom line is it was still a good trip, wish it was a great trip, but it was a good trip. Two out of three and we have to push this one aside quickly and get focused on our next one."

Wild have four games remaining; they are 4 points clear of 8th place, they host the Flames on Sunday.
