Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo City engineers are thinking about widening 25th Street South.
It's estimated in between 19,000 and 25,000 cars travel this road every day. And by 2030, nearly 37,000 will be using the same street. So, they're proposing to widen the road to six lanes to reduce crashes.
Fargo also want to add ramps to I-94. Both projects are estimated to cost about 10 and a half million dollars.
Houston Engineering, Inc.: "This intersection has consistently been on DOT high crash locations list for urban intersections statewide."
If the city passes the proposal, construction will begin next summer.
