Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- The wet snow, often referred to as heart attack snow, is keeping EMT and fire crews busy.

Captain Ryan Viergutz, with Fargo Fire Department, says if you're gasping for breath or have chest pain, it's best to take a break.

Viergutz says, "our call volume does go up a bit when we have heavy snows, just because people are out working hard. They're over-exerting themselves. Everyone wants to get the snow out of the way so they can get to work or on with their day."

Best bet, listen to what your body is telling you.
