Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The New York Mets made their Target Field debut, a memorable one.

Playing in below-freezing temperatures and scoring 16 runs on the Twins.

That's just one run shy than the Marlins have all year.

Minnesota trying to have a short memory,

I don't think that's possible for Aaron Hicks right now.

The Twins lead-off hitter, struck out 3 more times today, he leads the majors with 20 and he has the worst batting average as well.

He's 2-for-43.

Scott Diamond making his season debut, he pitched well until the 5th,

Marlyn Byrd lets one fly to the upper-deck in left. Diamond went 4 and a third allowing 4 earned runs.

Mets starter Matt Harvey took a no-hitter into the 7th, but Justin Morneau ends it in a big way, hammering this pitch to deep right, Morneau's first of the year.

Twins had a chance to tie in the 9th, down 2 with a man-on, but Ryan Doumit strikes out looking.

New York takes game two, 4-2. The Twins will try to avoid the sweep tomorrow.
