Police have identified the man and woman involved and confirmed the cause of death was arrow injuries to the chest.

It was 69-year-old Geraldine Kading of Dent who was found dead at the scene. Sources say Kading and her alleged killer, 56-year-old David Stensrud, were a couple.

They were spotted several times along Washington Avenue, the same street where Stensrud lived, in apartment 918 and a half.

This wouldn't be the first time David Stensrud committed a crime.

His Minnesota criminal history includes two counts of criminal sexual conduct which are both felonies. Stensrud was also sentenced to 16 years in prison for sexual contact with a minor younger than 13. In which he was recently released back in 2010.

Stensrud remains at Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes. His condition is unknown.
