Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - Imagine playing one position for over a decade and then being asked to switch to a new spot and be ready in a matter of months.

That's the issue for former Shanley standout Myles Montplaisir with the MSUM football standout. The sophomore who was quarterbacking the Dragons last season is now a full-time wide receiver. Montplaisir struggled under center last year for MSUM and head coach Steve Laqua told him if he wants to stay on the field he was going to need to switch spots.

Myles Montplaisir, MSUM Sophomore Wide Receiver: “I've never played anything other that QB, definitely a change, but I'm willing to do it. It's great because now I can finally know my role on the team. I know where the QB would want me to be so that helps. I know what I have to do."

The Dragons have two quarterbacks on the roster and also have an incoming QB that will fight for playing time in fall camp.
