Travel alert issued for southeastern North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota transportation officials have issued a travel alert for the southeastern part of the state.

Officials say blowing snow is reducing visibilities, and conditions are icy. They are urging motorists to use caution.

The National Weather Service says some areas in the region could see up to 10 inches of snow by the end of the day.

The travel alert includes the cities of Jamestown, valley City, Wahpeton and Fargo.
