Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- Cowboys and girls are packing the Fargodome this weekend, And bucking up for fierce competition.

The 2-day P-R-C-A Championship Rodeo is in town... Bringing contestants from all across the country.

Right now the rodeo just wrapped up, But when I was inside earlier tonight the place was packed... And crowds and competition were wild.

200 competitors from 10 different states and Canada took part, some coming from right here in the Valley.

Some of the country's top rodeo stars, and their loudest, and youngest, fans.

Gabe Steffan- Rodeo Fan: "Excited for the bulls"

Are making noise at the Fargodome.

Annie Krieg- Rodeo Fan: “Going to watch the rodeo”

Gabe: “Having fun”

Coming out to see bull riding, bareback competitions, cattle roping, and more. All while sporting the best in western wear.

What's you favorite part of rodeos?

Gabe: The bull riding.

Annie: When the people get bucked off the horses.

Crowds came to see their favorite athletes, and some locals too...like Russell Priewe from Kindred.

Russel Priewe- Kindred Competitor: "Great feeling. This is, there's nothing like it."

He's competing against some of the best in the rodeo show biz all trying to rope in points for the wrangler national finals in Vegas.

Priewe: "intense. It's all adrenaline, you get in there and go out. It's just the greatest feeling i've ever had."

Priewe by riding bareback with a quick trip on his bucking bronco.

Priewe: "I just decided one time I wanted to try it and did it one time and loved it and I haven't quit yet."

Saying he wouldn't make it far, without the loyal rodeo fans filling the stands.

Priewe: "it's a lot more pressure. A lot more people you know, a lot more people expecting more of ya."

The rodeo also runs tomorrow night, beginning at 7:30 at the Fargodome.
