Jamestown, ND (WDAY TV) - Stronger security will be coming to the Jamestown School district beginning next school year.

School officials approved a $110,000 plan to add new security measures in all the buildings.

There are already security cameras in the middle and high schools but 50 additional cameras will be installed in the district's elementary schools.

The plan also includes locked doors with a buzzer system for visitors as well as panic buttons to alert law enforcement more quickly.
