Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A special weekend coming up to mark on your calendar.
March of Dimes will host the "March for Babies" on April 13th at Scheels Arena.
This year's North Dakota ambassador family is Brett and Annie Larson of Fargo. Their 21-month old daughter, Madison, spent 101 days in the neo-natal intensive care unit at Essentia.
Madison's twin sister Aubrey died just hours after they were born 14-weeks early. Madison is now healthy and the family wants to promote the mission of March of Dimes, in honor of her twin sister.
Annie Larson, Ambassador Mom: “We want to give Aubrey's life a purpose, and we want every baby to be born on time and healthy.”
Money raised at the April 13th walk will help fund research and education to prevent premature births.
