Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The Masters tees off next week in Georgia, which may be the cruelest piece of video for area golfers who have this amount of snow to deal with at Edgewood Golf Course.

Three years ago Edgewood changed its design on three separate holes to prepare for rising flood waters. Last year they changed the tee boxes and have new equipment to fight flooding if and when it comes this year.

Greg McCullough – Edgewood Head Professional: “We're still pretty fragile. The first key number is 28 feet. Obviously by all realistic expectations that's going to happen. The second number is 30 feet; pretty good chance that's going to happen as well. So, for us we're still pretty fragile, but we’ve done some things on the golf course. We’ve purchased some pumps, and things like that to help us out. What we found is that every day we save at this time of year we probably get a week on the back end. So, it's really important to get going after we can.”

Last year Edgewood had just one rainout from March through November; their best season ever.
