Fargo, ND (WDAY TV)-- The Fergus Falls School Disitrct is trying for a 2nd time to pass a $5.4 million plan to revamp the bleachers and athletic facilities at the Kennedy Secondary School.

The vote failed for the second time - 55% voted no tonight. Fifty percent was needed for passage.

The plan is almost a million dollars cheaper than one defeated in the November.

The project includes building 2 softball fields, 8 tennis courts, a football/track/soccer complex with an 8 lane track and new, handicapped accessible bleachers, plus parking, expanded green space for physical education, and an environmental learning area.
