Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Bison Football players braved the first day of Spring Practice outside.
It is the first day of practice for the championship team. Three months after the big win in Frisco.
Despite the cold, some players wore shorts. Others practiced with sweat pants. Crews had to clear the practice field of snow that had piled up this winter.
Trainers urged the players to stay hydrated, even in the cold, winter-like conditions.
NDSU trainer, Scott Woken, says, "as far as the temp goes, those are the guys that are the best. The ones who play then stop, get cold. The coaches, athletic trainers, the equipment mgrs, colder because they are not moving as much."
ust in case the Bison players were asking, it was 75-degrees in Frisco, Texas.
