Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- What a perfect day for an outdoor easter egg hunt, well perfect maybe would have been a little drier, but the hundreds of children taking part didn't seem to mind.

This is the annual "egg-stravaganza" event at Yunker Farm in Fargo. This is day two of hunting for eggs. Coordinators prepare for 1,000 kids to show up. They search for the colorful eggs and then turn them in for a prize.

Sophia Singman - Fargo Easter Egg Hunt says, "I found a lot of eggs."

"I tried to find a couple little ones and then pink ones."

"Just a fun family activity, trying to support the community that's definitely why we decided to come Saturday and then I think we might hunt some more eggs tomorrow too."

Bison Football players were on hand to pass out candy to children.
