Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The snow on the ground will not prevent the two Division I baseball schools in the state from squaring off against one another, but they'll be heading to Minneapolis to resume the rivalry. NDSU and UND open up a four game series tomorrow night at the Metrodome.

The Bison have been inconsistent so far this year with a 10-9 record and this is now the 4th straight season that these two teams have played but that doesn't mean the intensity has died down.

Tim Colwell, NDSU Jr. Outfielder: “There is always a little extra when you are playing your rival like that. It's always fun to play those guys who have dealt with a lot of the same things we have especially for baseball and everything. It's always fun to play those guys. I think we got a ton of talent on this team so I think when everything starts clicking there is no reason we can't run off a nice little run like that.”

Tod Brown, 6-3 vs. UND: “They’re a Division I school in our own state. We certainly want to play as best we can and win games, not only for our school pride but for recruiting purposes and everything else. We want to make a statement that our team is ready to play doesn't matter who you are.”

NDSU owns a 6-3 advantage since the move to D-I; doubleheader starts tomorrow at 5.
