Fergus Falls, MN (WDAY TV) - Food pantries around Minnesota are reaping the harvest of Food Share Month.

The 141 US Bank branches throughout the state collected cash, canned food and household items for the states food shelves.

In Fergus Falls, that meant more items to share with the growing number of people in that part of Otter Tail County needing help meeting their needs.

Gary Nelson, Fergus Falls Food Shelf: “Just more people who have lost their jobs. Some come here in tears. They don't want to be here but they have no choice.”

US Bank employees collected nearly $66,000 in donations for Minnesota Food Shelves.
