St. Paul, MN (WDAY TV) - It was a history making night last night for Moorhead native Matt Cullen.

Cullen and the Wild racked up a 6th straight win, beating Dallas; while Cullen scored his 200th career goal. He becomes the 9th Minnesotan to reach that milestone, joining another fellow Moorhead Spud in Jason Blake. For Cullen, who broke into the league in 1997, this is a nice payoff.

Matt Cullen – Scored 200th Goal (9th Minnesotan): “It's always fun. It's one of those things I guess, if you play long enough you're going to knock a few in, but it's always fun. It's one of those things that when your career is over you’re going to look back on. It's funny how fast it goes by, but I've enjoyed every minute of it.”

Cullen now has reached two milestones in the last two years - playing in over 1,000 games and 200 goals. First place Minnesota hosts Phoenix tomorrow night.
