Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) – There are no more second chances for the UND hockey team after last week's overtime loss in the Final Five to Colorado College. Now it's on to the NCAA Tournament.

UND will face Niagara in the opening round Friday afternoon. Dave Hakstol's team was rolling prior to last weekend's loss and they know they need to get that momentum back and soon.

Corbin Knight – UND Senior Forward: “It was definitely a very difficult loss. I think it was to live another day and get that auto bid. I think guys were able to switch their focus pretty fast. I think everyone is pretty excited about the opportunity to play in the national tournament.”

Dave Hakstol – UND Head Coach: “Everything is on the line this time of year. This is what you build your entire season for. This is what you work so hard for and that's what the regular season is for. It's to prepare for the national tournament. We're here, so now you put all of your effort into it each and every night.”

UND has faced the Purple Eagles 4 times previous and won each game; it's a 4:30 faceoff Friday and you can hear it on 970 WDAY.
