Wahpeton, ND (WDAY TV) -- Students at Wahpeton Middle School are getting active all for a good cause.

Students have been holding Dodgeball tournaments all month long to benefit the March Of Dimes. Nearly 100 students and staff are participating.

The goal this year is to raise 3 thousand dollars. So far, they've raised about 17 hundred. Students can either pay $5-dollars to be on a team, pay a quarter to watch a game, or do fundraising on their own.

Amber Lingen, 8th grader, says, "it's fun knowing that you're playing for a good cause, and raising money for premature babies."

The charity dodgeball tournaments have been held for 7 years.
