Minneapolis, MN (WDAY TV) - Perham has traveled this road two times before; back at Target Center in primetime to open up the state tournament, the script is different this season though as they face a team they played earlier this season.

It's only fitting that Perham spent its afternoon watching games and stay loose for tonight's game with Minnehaha Academy at Target Center because it’s really the only experience these Perham players know. This year's starting five combined for just 17 minutes at the state tournament a year ago.

Dave Cresap, Perham Head Coach: “At least being down around this atmosphere last year we had quite a few kids that didn't play but in atmosphere know what's it like think it help us a little bit just with the nerve part of it coming up tonight.”

Jody Norstedt: “You lost to Minnehaha Academy by 16 way back in the season opener did that point out to you how you need to coach this team?”

Cresap: “We were really raw defensively, didn't have offense in; I feel come a long ways; didn't have services of Jordan Hein adds a lot to our team.”

Norstedt: “To be down here a third straight year, you've won two straight why?”

Cresap: “Well the kids know how to do it. Big thing we're starting to think we can win and somebody has to come beat us. Think that mentality, come down here and win at least get through first game, do it again.”

In the last two section games, Coach Cresap dressed up in camo and a bumblebee outfit for in order to keep his team loose. When asked tonight he said his team would be laughing.
