Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The 15th annual construction job fair is giving workers a chance land that summer job. Last year more than 200 job seekers poured in, and they're hoping for an even bigger turn out this year.

Thirty-five employers signed up this time around with about 146 positions open for the upcoming construction season. With the F-M housing boom, Job Service of North Dakota says this fair is critical.

Brenda Cornell – Job Service of North Dakota: "Everything from carpenters to electricians to plumbers. So, all of those pieces that go into building a house or a business are here today. That's the crews they will need once they can start digging and the ground thaws out.”

The job fair ended at 6, but in the first 15 minutes more than 65 applicants showed up.
